The Georgia Society of Ophthalmology offers a variety of unique benefits for physicians currently undergoing ophthalmology residency or fellowship training in Georgia.

Membership Criteria
- You hold a degree of Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathy or an equivalent medical degree; AND
- You are engaged in a full-time ophthalmology residency training program conducted in Georgia; OR
- You have satisfactorily completed such a training program and you are engaged in a full-time ophthalmology fellowship training program in Georgia.
Apply for Membership
To apply for Resident/Fellow membership in the Society, you must submit the following:
1. Completed Resident/Fellow Membership Application
2. Written recommendation from Residency Program Director

Residents/Fellows may apply to become a Recent Graduate member of the Society upon completion of their training. Recent Graduates pay only 50% of regular annual membership dues.
